Some Memories from Indian Wells Part 2

This post is the final installment of my memories from Indian Wells. Whether you play tennis or are looking for a beautiful vacation, attending the professional tennis event is an amazing experience for all. The Coachella Valley in California is home to much more than the annual music festival. Voyaging to this South-Eastern area of California is ideal for those that love camping, experiencing new cities, enjoy a court-side athletic experience, or for tennis fans of all interests.

For the casual outdoor explorer, the options are near limitless. Check out all the wide-open range to rock-climb, camp, or simply enjoy.

Whether or not you are a casual or a die-hard tennis player, grabbing a reservation at one the countless country clubs in La Quinta, CA is must in order to see some of the Nation’s most beautiful tennis courts. Witness for yourself this grasscourt photo I grabbed after playing for two hours on a clay court.

For those that want to witness the surprising and astounding feats of professional tennis players first-hand, you need to go no further than a day pass to the event. Once you are in the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, you unlock the possibilities of seeing how incredible professional tennis truly is.

You are easily able to be close-up to the some of the world’s best athletes, like when I was within talking distance to the athletic legend and tennis world number one, Novak Djokovic.

In addition to the practice courts, there is no bad seat in the stadiums. Even in the largest stadium in the Tennis Garden, you can still witness tennis in a way that you will never be able to appreciate on television.

Making time for the trip down to Indian Wells is something everyone must put on their bucket list. If you found this post to be even slightly illuminating, I ask that you please follow the blog and continue to motivate me to provide more reasons to persuade you to get out of the day to day working grind and to discover some truly amazing events tennis has to offer.

  1. Great article as usual. I had the chance to see Federer vs Raonic in 2015 Indian wells Semi-Final, great atmosphere and just a top notch event. This is an event that tennis fans in Southern California should really go to.
